To be sure, I am 10 or so years late to this particular party. But at the urging of family and friends I have decided to start a weblog or ‘blog’ as the kids call them. While the focus of this blog will be wine, I will reserve the right to comment on the events of the day as I see fit.

I’ll largely avoid politics. This is not because I don’t have strong opinions, but simply because I don’t think I’ll have much to add to the fray that hasn’t already been written by dozens of other caffiene addled people in their bathrobes.

Comments will be open, and part of the reason why I am starting this blog is because I get lots of wine-related questions in the course of my day-to-day life and I want to have a venue to answer them. So ask away!
